About us
A small builder that sweats the details
Our story
Talus Ridge started in 2009 with one truck, one carpenter and a basement in Sandy.
Founder Dan Okafor had spent a decade framing and finishing homes for larger builders. He kept seeing the same problem: homeowners loved the result but hated the process. Nobody returned calls, schedules slipped, and the final bill rarely matched the estimate.
So we built a company around the process. Today we’re a team of fourteen carpenters, designers and project leads, and we still take on a limited number of projects each year. Most of our work comes from past clients and their neighbors. See for yourself in our recent projects, or read about what each remodel includes.
